Q: Who does SW ARTISTS represent?

A: Our clientele is largely comprised of union and non-union actors of all ages and ethnicities,

as well as children, for film, television and theater, as well as on camera/voice-over
                           commercials and musical theater.

Q: Does SW ARTISTS work exclusively with signed clients?

A: While our signed clients take priority with our office, we do work with an extensive pool of
              freelance clients.

Q: How do I submit myself for representation?

A: If you would like to submit yourself for representation, please mail your headshot and
                           resume to us.
(Please do not cold-call our office). We will contact you if we are interested in

you. Our address for submissions can be found on our Contact Us page.

Q: Are there any costs or fees to work with SW ARTISTS?

A: There are absolutely no fees up front to work with our agency. Talent agents can only take
a standard 10% commission when artists work. Commission for print work varies from job
                           to job.

Q: What is expected of me when interviewing with SW ARTISTS?

A: When interviewing with SW ARTISTS, arrive on time and prepared with what is asked of you
(e.g. headshot and resume - attached!), monologue, song, etc. Be relaxed and be yourself!

Q: Child Performer Laws - Which certificates/permits do I need?

A: New York State law requires that:

       The parent/guardian must:

     1. Obtain an Employment Permit for a Child Performer (valid for up to six months) before
employment begins and give the original to each employer.

    2. Renew this permit for the child performer 30 days prior to expiration.

There are two ways to obtain a permit:

   1) You can obtain a copy of the Application For An Employment Permit For A Child
Performer (LS-555). Once the application is completed you can mail it to the address
on the form along with the required documentation.

   2) You can also obtain, online, a one time only 15-day permit for first time applicants.
Upon successful completion of the application a permit will be issued online that will
allow the child performer to work for 15 days to give parents tiem for the submission
and processing of the additional required documentation.

In addition your child will not be able to work without the formation of a TRUST account.
